Tempo Data and Analysis Center (Tempo Media Group) together with the Center for Indonesia Taxation Analysis (CITA), carried out the assessment by comparing ratios related to the company profits and various inputs in business activities. In addition, the fulfillment of tax obligations are also indicators of assessment, means that the assessment does not only based on the amount of the contribution (rupiah) of the tax payment.
The assessment parameters include 3 main indicators, namely CTTOR (Corporate Tax Turn Over Ratio) or the ratio of tax payable income to sales, ETR (Effective Tax Rate) or the ratio of income tax to profit before tax and the nominal contribution or the amount of the current year tax.
The assessment process been carrying out on 580 Companies that are listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange, then selected to become 45 Companies based on data of Annual Report 2015 – 2017.In further assessments step, 27 Companies nominated as the Country Contributor Award. Finally, the Juries were decided 7 companies from 27 nominators to be awarded as The Most Tax Friendly Corporate in 2018 Tempo Country Contributor Award.
